The different file view modes

PDF Pro offers 4 different file view modes on iPhone and 5 different file view modes on iPad. The screenshots below indicate the control to toggle between those view modes.

Available view modes:

  • Cover view:
    Cover view displays all your files and folders displayed as cover images. Cover view provides you a visually nice overview of your documents. In cover view you can change names or color tags and sort your files via drag & drop or automatic sorting. Create folders or delete files.
  • List view:
    In list view you will find all your files and folders displayed in a list style. List view gives you some additional information on each document like file size and number of pages. In list view you can change names or color tags and sort your files via drag & drop or automatic sorting. Create folders or delete files.
  • Search:
    In search mode you can perform a full-text-search across all your documents with a single query.
  • Compare (iPad only):
    Compare mode lets you view 2 documents side-by-side.
  • Cloud:
    Access and edit files stored within other apps on your device. This lets you also access files within cloud storage providers installed on your device.
